The history of EDK OIL S.A began in 2009 with the creation of ETABLISSEMENT DEMBA KA SARL. It was the starting point of an entrepreneurial adventure that would quickly evolve and establish itself in the energy sector.
The year 2010 marks the opening of the fishing station at Hydrobase, Maristes, Bargny. This strategic expansion allows EDK to diversify its activities and strengthen its presence in the field.
EDK took on a new dimension in 2011 by opening service stations in Sandiara and Tivaouane. This is the start of a new era where the company becomes a key player in the field of energy services.
In 2012, EDK reached a crucial milestone by obtaining the hydrocarbon import license, strengthening its market position as a major energy supplier.
The year 2013 was marked by the strengthening of equity and the transformation of EDK into EDK OIL S.A. In addition, the opening of a service station in Touba Mbacké consolidates the national presence of the group.
